The story of Pixel Pet Babysitters
Schools banned the pixel pets, but the pets still wanted snacks at ten, noon and two. So a whole playground economy was born. Little siblings at home charged one cookie per feeding, grandmas worked for free, and one fourth grader ran a weekend pet daycare from her front porch. Rates doubled during field trips, and nobody complained.
The best babysitters left handwritten reports, like Ate twice, played once, very sassy around lunch.
