The story of Fizzwhistle Lab Hour

Doctor Fizzwhistle wore a tidy silver flat-top and a bow tie at all times, even on weekends. His sidekick Gurgle was a measuring-cup puppet who burped bubbles whenever an experiment worked. The baking soda volcano episode inspired so many science fair projects that judges started groaning at the word volcano.

Fun fact

Gurgle the measuring cup was voiced by the station janitor, who also built the entire lab set.
