The story of Velvet Avenue

Velvet Avenue was the show your babysitter swore she wasn't watching while she very much watched it. Characters returned from long trips with new hairdos and new names, amnesia struck twice a season, and the doorman Reginald knew everything. Fridays always ended on a frozen close-up of someone gasping into a cordless phone.
