The story of Storm Center Stu
Stu Kowalski never once used a computer graphic. He stood in front of a giant metal map and slapped down magnetic suns, raindrops and lightning bolts like he was playing a board game. When snow was coming he wore a tie covered in snowflakes, so kids watched for the tie instead of the forecast.
The snowflake tie appeared the night before every snow day, so kids started calling it the Freedom Tie.
