The story of Cardboard 3-D Night
For two weeks the grocery store handed out free red-and-blue paper glasses at checkout, and the whole town waited for Friday. The movie was mostly blurry, the colors made your eyes water, and nothing really jumped out of the screen. Everyone still ducked when the giant bat flew toward the camera.
Most kids wore the glasses all weekend and claimed the family dog looked three-dimensional.
