The story of Synth Sunday Countdown
Synth Sunday Countdown ran for three hours, and the number one video was always saved for the last ninety seconds, so nobody could leave the couch. Host Dash Delgado introduced every clip while leaning on a giant glowing keyboard. Kids recorded the whole thing on blank tapes and fast-forwarded through the slow ballads for weeks.
The fog machine ran so often that the host's sunglasses had tiny windshield wipers installed.
