The story of Lunchbox Aliens
Blip, Blorp and Gary landed their pea-sized spaceship in Kevin Moss's lunchbox and spent every episode pretending to be grapes, crackers and one very suspicious cheese cube. The cafeteria was their entire universe. The animation was early computer 3D, so everything looked shiny and slightly plastic, which kids thought was the coolest thing ever.
Fun fact
Gary the alien was named after an animator who kept eating everyone else's lunch at the studio.
