The story of Mr. Sockfeet Online
Mr. Sockfeet was a striped sock with two huge cartoon feet, and his website loaded one tiny episode at a time over dial-up. Each cartoon was a weird little song about toast, socks or Tuesdays. Kids shared the link through email forwards, and computer labs filled with whispered sockfeet songs until teachers blocked the site.
Fun fact
The toast song was only nineteen seconds long, but kids looped it for entire computer lab periods.
