An infomercial gadget that pressed pancake batter into sealed pockets stuffed with fruit, cheese or leftover spaghetti.
The story · 2007
The infomercial showed a family so overwhelmed by regular pancakes that they collapsed onto the kitchen floor in black and white. Then the gadget arrived in full color, and suddenly everyone was smiling at pockets stuffed with blueberries and, somehow, meatloaf. It came with a recipe booklet that nobody ever opened.
The spaghetti pocket demo took eleven takes because the noodles kept escaping out the sides.
Six finishes
Pocket Pancake Press comes in six finishes: 100 Base, 50 Holo, 25 Laser and 10 Gold copies, plus one Super Laser and one Misprint that exist exactly once. Every copy is minted to the wallet that rips it, with its own serial number.
