Retsy Series 1 · Card 0799 · 00-TVV
To the stars, and back by dinner!
A cartoon about a potato astronaut who launched from a farm in a homemade rocket to explore vegetable planets.
The story · 2002
Spudnik was a brave russet potato in a fishbowl helmet who built his rocket from a grain silo and a lot of hope. Every episode he landed on a new world, like the Carrot Moon or the Planet of Very Rude Onions. He always made it home in time for dinner, which was suspicious given what he was.
His helmet was a fishbowl because the animators loved how the shine looked in early 3D.
Six finishes
Spudnik comes in six finishes: 100 Base, 50 Holo, 25 Laser and 10 Gold copies, plus one Super Laser and one Misprint that exist exactly once. Every copy is minted to the wallet that rips it, with its own serial number.
