The story of Midnight Log Rolling
Midnight Log Rolling aired when nothing else was on, which was exactly when kids stayed up too late. Two competitors in spiked boots spun a floating log until one splashed. Then came pole climbing, boom running and a commentator who took it all extremely seriously. By the finals, whole families were cheering for strangers named Big Red and Tiny.
Fun fact
Kids tried log rolling at the community pool with a foam noodle and lasted about half a second.
