The story of Churro Sundae Sandwich
The dessert truck parked outside the farmers market every Saturday, and the longest line was always for the Churro Sundae Sandwich. Two warm churro rings, fried crispy and rolled in cinnamon sugar, hugged a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. Then came salted caramel drizzle and pastel sprinkles. It melted instantly, and it was worth every sticky finger.
Ordering it with the churros still hot made the ice cream melt in about ninety seconds, a race everyone lost.
