The story of Rainbow Melt Sandwich
The Rainbow Melt looked ordinary until you pulled the halves apart and a stretchy rainbow of red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple cheese stretched between them. It tasted like regular grilled cheese. That was not the point. Lines formed at the stand for hours as people filmed the pull in slow motion, then ate it cold.
Fun fact
The stand kept a little ring light on the counter so customers could film the pull without holding up the line.
