The story of Lunchbox Lightning
Lunchbox Lightning came with a zigzag plastic straw shaped like a lightning bolt, and it made a crackly slurp sound at the bottom of every box. Kids squeezed the empty box to make the straw whistle, which teachers hated. It fit perfectly next to a sandwich in a metal lunchbox and was always lukewarm by noon.
Blowing back into the straw made the box puff up like a balloon, and the cafeteria monitor had seen enough.
