The story of Polar Spin Slush
The Polar Spin machine sat by the register with two clear barrels slowly churning cherry and blue. Watching the paddles turn was half the fun. You got a waxed paper cup, a spoon straw and a warning from the clerk about cold headaches. You ignored it every single time, then winced in the parking lot.
Pressing your tongue to the roof of your mouth supposedly cured a slush headache, and every kid tested it daily.
