The story of Sherbet Party Punch
No birthday party was complete without the big glass bowl of Sherbet Party Punch. Someone's mom dumped rainbow sherbet into fizzing fruit soda, and the foam rose like a pastel cloud. Kids fought over the ladle, and the floating scoops were the prize. By cake time the punch was a lukewarm sunset of melted color.
Getting a whole floating scoop in your cup was considered better luck than finding the prize in a party bag.
