The story of Makerspace Printer Queue
The library cleared out the old microfiche corner and filled it with 3D printers, a laser cutter, sewing machines and a soldering bench. Teens booked printer time on a clipboard and watched plastic layers build up for hours like a cooking show. The librarian, Ms. Ferreira, kept a shelf of failed prints called the Museum of Spaghetti.
The most printed object in the makerspace's first year was a tiny dinosaur that doubled as a phone stand.
