The story of Rolled Ice Cream Window
The line at Frostroll wrapped around the block, mostly because everyone stopped to film the process. A server poured sweet cream onto a frozen steel slab, chopped in strawberries or cereal with two metal spatulas, spread it paper thin, then scraped it into perfect curls. The cup came topped with whipped cream, mochi and a wafer stick. Watching took longer than eating it.
Frostroll's fastest roller could make a full cup in ninety seconds, and customers clapped when she finished.
