The story of Adopt-an-Acre Crunch
Adopt-an-Acre Crunch arrived right when every science class was obsessed with saving the rainforest. Despite the name, each wrapper unfolded into a certificate for exactly one square foot of jungle. Kids taped them to their walls, named their trees and compared territories at lunch. The wrapper starred Fern, a tree frog in a ranger hat.
Kids who ate twelve bars proudly announced that they now owned a rainforest roughly the size of a closet.
