The story of Motor Mouth Lolly
Motor Mouth Lolly was a lollipop with a soundtrack. The chunky handle starred Yammer, a big-mouthed cartoon walrus, and its red button played a boing, a splat, a drum roll or a long, rude burp. Refill candies came in flavors like Blue Riptide. Kids pranked substitute teachers with the burp until the batteries died.
Holding the button down during a spelling test played the burp on a loop, which is how most of them got confiscated.
