The story of Holo Foil Chews
Holo Foil Chews were basically trading cards you could eat. Each square chew came in rainbow holographic foil, and some wrappers hid a shimmering dragon or comet if you tilted them in the light. Kids flattened wrappers into binders, traded them at recess, and sometimes left the candy uneaten. Collectors still argue about the gold dragon.
A rumor said one bag in a thousand held a solid gold wrapper, and every kid knew someone whose cousin found it.
