The story of Gym Sock Surprise

Gym Sock Surprise was gross-out marketing at its finest. The tiny cotton sock pouch even had a fake grass stain, and the gummies inside were little feet in pink, peach and lime. They smelled like strawberry, but kids pretended to gag anyway before eating them. Gym teachers reported a sharp rise in sock jokes that semester.

Fun fact

Kids reused the empty pouch for their marble collections, which made the marbles smell like strawberry forever.
