The story of Spiral Drop Gumballs
Nobody actually wanted the gumball. You wanted the ride. The Spiral Drop machine stood by the grocery store exit, taller than your dad, and once you dropped a quarter you watched your gumball loop around the clear spiral, bounce off a bell and plunk into the little door. Then you immediately begged for another quarter.
Kids raced their gumballs against each other and swore the blue ones were always fastest.
