The story of The Full-Size House
Every neighborhood had one, and kids planned their whole Halloween route around it. The porch light was always on, the line went down the driveway, and the full-size bars were stacked in a salad bowl like gold bricks. Some kids came back in a second costume. The owners always knew, and they always handed over another bar.
Grown-ups still remember that house's address, even when they cannot remember their own childhood phone number.
