The story · 1996
The chain wallet was security and style in one. The wallet usually held a library card and two dollars, but the chain hung almost to your knee and jingled with every step. Skaters swore it was practical. Teachers could hear you coming from three classrooms away, so tardies were very hard to hide.
The rip-open sound of the wallet during a quiet test was louder than any fire alarm.
Six finishes
Clanky Chain Wallet comes in six finishes: 100 Base, 50 Holo, 25 Laser and 10 Gold copies, plus one Super Laser and one Misprint that exist exactly once. Every copy is minted to the wallet that rips it, with its own serial number.
