The story of Free Comb Picture Day
Every picture day started with the same gift: a little black plastic comb that lived in your back pocket for months. You combed your bangs once, waited in line, sat on the wobbly stool, and tilted your chin exactly where the photographer pointed. The backdrop looked like a cloudy sky made of denim.
Nobody ever used the free comb again, but nobody ever threw it away either.
