The story of Dangling Strap Overalls
Nobody knew who started it, but by fourth period the whole school had one strap down. The loose buckle clanked against your hip with every step and caught on every locker door. Hooking both straps meant you were either a farmer or somebody's little brother. The bib pocket held gum, gel pens and secrets.
Teachers who asked students to fix their straps learned that the dangling one was apparently broken on every pair.
