A flexible plastic headband shaped like a zigzag of comb teeth that stretched over your head and gripped.
The story · 1997
The Shark Tooth headband slid on like a stretchy rainbow and left perfect stripes combed through your hair. It came in clear, glitter and neon, and after a week it was always stretched out a little crooked. Pull it too far and it launched across the room like a tiny boomerang, usually at a substitute teacher.
Two headbands linked together made an excellent fake crown, but only for about six seconds.
Six finishes
Shark Tooth Headband comes in six finishes: 100 Base, 50 Holo, 25 Laser and 10 Gold copies, plus one Super Laser and one Misprint that exist exactly once. Every copy is minted to the wallet that rips it, with its own serial number.
