The story of Gel-Glued Faux Hawk
The faux hawk was a mohawk for kids whose parents said absolutely not. You pushed everything toward the middle with a gloopy handful of gel until it formed a crunchy ridge. Dads secretly tried it on weekends. By lunchtime it had wilted slightly, so the bathroom mirror became a gel touch-up station.
A properly gelled faux hawk could survive a full ride on the fair roller coaster without moving.
