The story of Grandma-Knit Poncho
Grandma-Knit ponchos took over one fall and never fully left. They were warm, colorful and impossible to wear a backpack over. Some were store-bought, but the best ones were crocheted by actual grandmas who were thrilled to finally be fashionable. The fringe got caught in every zipper ever made.
Kids twirled in ponchos so the fringe flew out, which looked amazing and caused at least one lamp to fall.
