The story of Zip-Off Convertibles
Convertibles were for kids who liked to be prepared. The legs zipped off at the knee, which meant half your pants were usually stuffed in your backpack. Pockets held a disposable camera, gum, a flip phone and three mystery rocks. Field trips were their natural habitat. Kids who zipped only one leg off became legends.
Students in one class zipped their pant legs together into a jump rope during indoor recess.
