The story of Sticker-On Flat Brim
A flat brim was sacred. Bending it was forbidden, and the shiny size sticker on top of the brim stayed on as proof the hat was fresh. Kids kept them in boxes so they would never get crushed. Teachers told students to take their hats off inside, and students carried them like baby birds.
Peeling the sticker off by accident was considered one of the worst things that could happen at school.
