The story of Skirt-Over-Jeans Combo
Somebody decided a skirt over jeans was the perfect outfit, and suddenly it was everywhere. The skirt was usually denim, ruffled or plaid, and the jeans underneath were flared. The look went great with a tank top over a long-sleeve tee. Grandmas asked if you had forgotten to change, every single time.
