Retsy Series 1 · Card 0576 · 90-TEC
See every call coming. Literally.
A see-through landline telephone whose circuit board and neon lights flashed in rainbow colors when it rang.
The story · 1999
The Glowguts made every bedroom feel like a spaceship. You could see its wires, buttons and tiny ringer bell through the clear shell, and when a call came in, the whole phone lit up purple, green and pink. Teens kept it on the nightstand like a lamp and waited for it to light up after nine.
Owners slept with the ringer off and the lights on, so late calls silently turned the bedroom into a disco.
Six finishes
Glowguts Landline comes in six finishes: 100 Base, 50 Holo, 25 Laser and 10 Gold copies, plus one Super Laser and one Misprint that exist exactly once. Every copy is minted to the wallet that rips it, with its own serial number.
