The story of Detachaface Car Stereo
With the Detachaface, the front of your car stereo went everywhere you did: into the mall, the movie theater, even the dentist's office. It lived in a plastic clamshell case that fit in a back pocket. Forgetting it at home meant a silent drive, and older brothers swore the dancing display lights made the car go faster.
Every school parking lot had one kid who wore the faceplate case clipped to their belt like a badge of honor.
