The story of Skipless Wonder CD Player
The Skipless Wonder was shaped like a flying saucer and opened like a clamshell to reveal your favorite disc spinning. The box bragged about anti-skip memory, which worked perfectly as long as you sat completely still on carpet. Walking, riding the bus or breathing heavily produced a stuttery mess. Kids carried it level like a waiter with soup.
The battery cover was apparently designed to snap off and vanish on the very first day, which every owner can confirm.
