The story of Lapslab Notebook
Dad carried the Lapslab through airports like a briefcase full of bricks. It had a little trackball by the keyboard, a screen you had to view from exactly straight ahead and a fan that sounded like a hair dryer. Kids weren't allowed to touch it, so naturally they learned every game installed on it within a week.
Resting it on your actual lap for ten minutes left a warm rectangle that lasted the rest of the afternoon.
