The story of Knowitall CD-ROM

Knowitall replaced the dusty encyclopedia set in the den overnight. You could click a lion and hear it roar, or watch a postage-stamp-sized video of a volcano. Every school report suddenly included the phrase multimedia presentation. The narrator's voice was so calm and confident that kids trusted him more than their teachers.

Fun fact

Many kids spent more time playing the built-in trivia game than reading any articles, and still somehow aced geography.
