A frozen bean and cheese burrito that came out of the microwave icy on both ends and volcanic inside.
The story · 1986
Two minutes in the gas station microwave produced the same result every time: the ends were still frozen solid and the middle could melt a spoon. Kids ate from the outside in, blowing on every bite, then braved the core with a carton of milk standing by. Somehow they bought another one the very next day.
Flipping it halfway through was supposed to even out the heat, but nobody ever found any proof.
Six finishes
Lava Core Burrito comes in six finishes: 100 Base, 50 Holo, 25 Laser and 10 Gold copies, plus one Super Laser and one Misprint that exist exactly once. Every copy is minted to the wallet that rips it, with its own serial number.
