The story of Neapolitan Truce
Everyone ate the Neapolitan Truce differently. Some kids bit straight through all three stripes. Some licked out one flavor at a time. Some ate the chocolate and vanilla and handed the strawberry to a little sibling. The wafers stuck to your fingers no matter what, and the ice cream truck sold out of them by four o'clock.
The strawberry stripe always looked the thinnest, a fact debated on playgrounds for the entire decade.
