The story of Rectangle Pizza Day
When the lunch calendar said rectangle pizza, attendance went up. The crust was somewhere between bread and cardboard, the cheese came as one orange sheet, and the pepperoni was cut into little cubes nobody could explain. It came with corn and a carton of chocolate milk, and the line stretched past the trophy case.
Kids traded entire dessert cups to get a corner piece, because corners had the crunchy cheese edges.
