The story of Walking Fry Wind-Ups
Carousel Chicken served kids' meals in a cardboard box shaped like a carousel, and inside waited one of six Walking Fry pals. Each had sneaker feet, googly eyes and a different hat. Wind the key, set it down and it waddled straight off the table into the ketchup. Collecting all six took a whole summer of begging.
The rare sixth fry wore a tiny paper cook's hat and supposedly only showed up in boxes handed out on Tuesdays.
