The story of Silver Sleeve Pie
The box swore the silver sleeve made a crispy crust, and it was technically true for the outer half inch. The middle stayed soft as a pillow, the cheese bubbled into molten craters, and the sleeve sometimes crackled with tiny sparks that made Grandma yell from the den. Kids ate it anyway, folded in half like a taco.
Holding the sleeve up to the light showed a shiny silver grid that kids insisted was a secret space map.
