The story of Powder Avalanche Funnel
You could spot a funnel cake eater from across the midway: powdered sugar on the chin, the shirt and somehow the eyebrows. The batter was swirled into hot oil in a crazy squiggle, fried golden and buried under a mountain of white. Every bite launched a sugar cloud, and the paper plate always gave up halfway through.
Blowing on a funnel cake to cool it down was a rookie mistake that led directly to sugar in the face.
