The story of Big Couch Bookstore
Folio Fort was the size of a grocery store, with maroon carpet, a juice bar upstairs and big velvet couches scattered between the shelves. Teens claimed the couches on Friday night and read whole comic collections cover to cover. Almost nobody bought anything, and the staff never once asked anyone to leave.
Folio Fort's most popular couch was a purple one near the travel section, and regulars arrived early to claim it.
