The story of Mall Rat Saturdays
Moms dropped the crew at the east entrance at ten and picked them up at six. In between: sampling every lotion at the soap shop, trying on sunglasses at the kiosk, paging each other from pay phones, and one long lap past the arcade to see who was there. Lunch was a single soft pretzel split four ways.
Riverglen's Saturday security guard rode a three-wheeled scooter and knew every regular teen by their jacket.
