The story of Cardboard Kingdom Tourney
Every Sunday the folding tables at Cardboard Kingdom filled with kids, binders and the crinkle of fresh booster packs. Matches ran all afternoon while parents waited in the car. Trades happened in whispers, every shiny foil card got checked under the lamp, and Owen, the owner, settled every rules fight with a giant three-ring binder.
The tournament trophy was a spray-painted gold soup ladle, and winners got to keep it for exactly one week.
