The story of Late Fee Video Palace
The new release wall held forty copies of the big movie, and by six on Friday every single one was gone. Families wandered the aisles for an hour arguing, then went home with a comedy nobody wanted. The drop slot outside clunked all night. The late fee printout taped to your fridge was the scariest thing you rented all year.
Late Fee Video Palace named itself after its biggest moneymaker, and the owner admitted it in the local paper.
