The story of Color Team Field Day

Every class got a color and a stack of cheap matching shirts that shrank after one wash. The PTA rented an inflatable obstacle course that squeaked and smelled like sunscreen. There were relay races, a sponge bucket brigade and a tug of war that always ended in a pile. The finale was a water balloon battle between students and teachers.

Fun fact

The teachers always won the water balloon battle, mostly because the gym teacher hid a garden hose behind the shed.
