The story of Flashlight Corn Maze
Every October, Hendricks Farm cut a giant maze into the cornfield shaped like a pumpkin riding a bicycle, visible only from the sky. On Friday nights you went in with a flashlight and a paper map that was useless in the dark. Teenage farmhands in scarecrow costumes jumped out from dead ends. Getting out took an hour, and somebody always lost a shoe.
The farm posted an aerial photo of each year's maze design, and kids argued for weeks about what the shape was.
